Max and the dolphin

It was late in the afternoon and Max went to the beach. He was sad, because of Sarah. Sarah was his big love; no she was more for him. But she don’t like him, Sarah don’t expect that Max loves her. She only likes what the cool boy Andy gave her. He gave her a big red diamond ring. And because of this present she loves him and Max was only air for her. “Look what Andy gave me, a cool ring. Is it not beautiful? Andy gave me cool present and you? You haven’t given me everything. I don’t like you, Andy is my dream boy. And now go away”. These cruel words had Sarah said to him last night as Max would ask her if she want to go dancing with him on Saturday night. But today will be Saturday night and she wouldn’t go dancing with him, only with the cool guy Andy who gave her a big ring. Max knows that Sarah likes white pearl chains, so he thought: When I only would have some white pearls, I could make a beautiful chain for her and so she would go dancing with me tonight. But Max hadn’t white pearls and he walked the whole beach along, but he couldn’t find some pearls anywhere. So he sat on the beach in the hot sand and watched the birds which flew around the sea. The waves were quiet and Max began to cry. He cried louder and louder and suddenly the waves got higher and a dolphin came on the beach. “I heard you crying. What’s wrong with you?” asked the dolphin. Max was surprised and answered “My big love won’t go out with my tonight, because I haven’t given her a present like Andy, the cool boy, have done it. When I would have some white pearls, I could make a chain for her and so I could have a real chance that she would go dancing with me tonight. But I haven’t got pearls.” “Oh I see and I can understand you” said the dolphin “Do you really love her?” asked the dolphin. “Yes, I love her like nothing else in this world” said Max to the dolphin. “Let me see, I think I can help you”. “How?” shouted Max loud. “Get on my back and I take you to a special place”. Max jumped on his back and the dolphin started to bring him to the special place. They swam through the waves and plunged. As they were under the sea, Max saw many sea flowers and fish. He didn’t know where he really was and how he could breathe here under the sea, but it was equally. He was contented that the trip would help him to dance with Sarah tonight. After one hour Max sat on the sand again, but not on his beach. No, the dolphin had brought him to an island and his last words were: here you will find what you search. And with these words the dolphin swam away. Now Max was alone on this island. It was a beautiful island with a great landscape. Everywhere was palm trees with big coconuts and the sun was shinning hot on his face. But what should he do now? Here on this island he would find pearls like the dolphin had said it. But where were the pearls? He couldn’t see them anywhere. So Max stood up and walked through the palm trees. He walked and walked till he came to a little way of stones. He followed the way and saw more palm trees and beautiful flowers. He walked until the way stopped at a big and high tree. It wasn’t a palm tree; no it was a strange tree. His trunk was brown with a little touch of orange and his leafs were blue. Suddenly something came through the leafs, it was a red snake. Max was scared of it, but the snake said: “Don’t be scared of me. I know why you are here. You search white pearls for your love”. “Where have you heard this? Why do you know this?” asked Max. “The dolphin has told me your problem and I will help you. Can you see the purple fruit on top of the tree?” asked the red snake. “Yes, I can see it”, answered Max. “Good. You must climb to the fruit and then you must open it, so you will find what you want”. “Is that everything what I must do?” asked Max, but the nice red snake was suddenly away. Max done everything like the sake has said it. He climbed on top of the strange tree and opened the fruit. He saw a glaring light which make him blind. Suddenly a strong storm, it was a kind of tropical storm which came up and took him away. A few minutes later he woke up on a beach. It was his beach. He was back at home. Max rubbed his eyes, because he thought that he has dreamed everything, but as he looked next to him, he saw some white blinking pearls lying on the sand. Everything was true, he hasn’t dreamed everything. “Thank you dolphin and little red snake”, shouted Max through the beach. He took the pearls and ran home. At home he made a beautiful chain with the pearls, because it wasn’t too late to go to Sarah’s house to give her the chain and ask her if she would go dancing with him now. As Max was finished with his nice chain, he went to Sarah. But to his surprise, he met Sarah and Andy. “Where are you going, Sarah?” asked Max her. Sarah turned around and smiled. “I go dancing with Andy; do you have some problems with it?” asked Sarah. “But I want to go dancing with you” said Max, “Look what I have for you?” said Max quiet. He showed her the chain, but Sarah only looked at it and said “It is nice, Max, I like white pearl chains, but I can’t go dancing with you. I love Andy; he is my dream boy and not you. I’m sorry”. “Yes, I’m her lover and not you. So go away, little guy and don’t follow us okay?” shouted Andy. Sarah began to laugh and said “Yeah, go away little Max”. Max saw them walking away hand in hand and suddenly they stooped on the street and began to kiss. Max couldn’t see this and so he turned around and gone home. He was so sad that he began to cry as he stood before his window. He watched the stars and couldn’t really believe what happened. Why was Sarah so cruel to him? He fetched these pearls only for Sarah, but Sarah doesn’t like them. No, Sarah likes pearl chains, but not from him and so she also didn’t go out with him tonight. His whole adventure was for nothing. He went to bed and slept with tears. From this moment on Max knows that you can’t buy love and Sarah wasn’t his big love anymore.
