Art is my life

I am 17 years old and I can’t believe it, but my dream becomes true.

When I was 8 years old my grandma bought me some oil colours. She is my greatest fan and supports me since I was 5. Later at school our teacher show us a lot of pictures of famous painter and when I saw this pictures I wanted to paint such too. At first I paint ed only for myself because I thought I am not so good. Sometimes when I thought one of my pictures was very good I bought a picture rail for it and gave it to my grandma for the birthday. They were all over the moon when they got one of my pictures because they think they are very good and that I have a lot of talent.


The Competition

I ever dreamed that my pictures hang in the museum. And then at the age of 15 my grandma sent one of my pictures to
a painting competition. Six month ago I got a letter and I was very surprised if I saw that it comes from a paint competition. So I asked my mom if she know something about the letter. But she didn’t know anything. She only said that I should ask my grandma because she had say that she had a surprise for me but she didn’t said what it is. Maybe that was the surprise. I opened the letter and read it. They told me that I had won the second place at the competition. Then I asked my grandma and she told me everything.

Rainer Fetting

After some days another letter arrived.It was a letter from Rainer Fetting, one of the judges at the competition. He wants to see some more pictures of me because he thought my picture was very great. He told me, if my other pictures where as great as the one from the competition we could make an exhibit show with my pitures. I was very excited when Mr. Fetting said that.
My own exhibit show

Some weeks later I had my own exhibit show in the “Kleine Gallerie” in Dahme. A lot of people came to see my pictures. It was a very nice feeling to see this. Most of them told me that my pictures where very great and that they wish me luck for the future. I was over the moon when I heard this. I hope that one day one of my pictures will hang in the “National Gallery” in Berlin like the picture of Rainer Fetting. This is my dream for the future and I would do everything that it become true.
