Someone To Tell Her Everything´s Okay
She’s sitting there, waiting
waiting for something,
something she wants to know
Her name is Polly, she’s still a girl
Her voice is soundless
her words are plain
She laughs without laughter
she smiles motionlessly
she cries without shedding
a tear
she’s lonely but not alone
she’s warm but freezing
she’s afraid but she has
no fear
She’s waiting for someone to come,
someone to take her away
She’s weak, her body’s weaker
she’s cold, the wind blows
cold air against her, her young face
she’s almost blown by the wind
her hair is dirty, it’s red,
red like a dusty red rose
She laughs without laughter
she smiles motionlessly
she cries without shedding
a tear
she’s lonely but not alone
she’s cold but sweating
she’s frightened but she has
no fear
She’s waiting for the light
the darkness is all around her
Inside her it’s full of darkness
Polly’s still a girl, a girl who
wants to see the sun rise again
The cold leaves cover her cold body
as she lays back down
Feels the wet ground against her back
Her eyes closed, she opens them
to see the last moonshine
She closes her eyes
The world is all black around her now
She’s waiting, she’s waiting
for someone to come and
burry her alive
She wants to know
