Flor's Ignored Warnings - Cataclysmic Consequences
As the flames danced in the hearth, casting flickering shadows across the walls of the dimly lit chamber, Flor Divad sat, his gaze fixed on the swirling patterns in the fire. His mind, however, was far from the present, lost in the depths of his prophetic visions."You must listen to me," Flor pleaded, his voice echoing softly in the silence of the room. "Russia will rise, a behemoth awakened from its slumber, hungry for conquest. Its armies will march across the world, leaving naught but devastation in their wake."
The others in the chamber exchanged uneasy glances, their expressions a mixture of scepticism and fear. Flor was no stranger to disbelief; his prophecies had long been met with scepticism, dismissed as the ramblings of a madman. But he knew the truth of his words, felt the weight of destiny pressing down upon him.
"Just like Casandra, cursed with foresight yet condemned to be ignored," Flor continued, his voice growing more urgent. "But heed my warning, for if we do not act, the world as we know it will cease to exist. Russia's aggression will know no bounds, and none shall be spared."
But his warnings fell upon deaf ears. The world was too preoccupied with its own concerns, too wrapped up in the petty squabbles of nations to pay heed to the portents of doom. And so, as Flor had foreseen, Russia struck, its armies sweeping across the globe like a merciless tide.
In the end, Flor's fate mirrored that of Casandra's. As the world burned around him, consumed by the flames of war, he stood alone, a solitary figure amidst the chaos.
His prophecies had come to pass, but there was no solace in being right. For in the end, not only did Flor perish, but so too did the entire world, paying the ultimate price for its arrogance and ignorance.
